|
| ----When raw water passes by the ejector, brine water(concentration 20%) will be absorbed into the valve by the ejector and get diluted (concn. 5%). Then it will enter the top of the swap tank and the layer of resin. The Calcium ion and Magnesium ion that have been swapped will be discharged through lower water locator.
---In the regenerating process, the resin at the top of the swap tank will contact the freshest regenerating liquid first. The salty water passes through multiple layers of resin, which will result in an imbalanced shape of the resin layer. |

|
| ----Raw water enters the top of the swap tank and resin layer, and continues to wash the swapped Calcium and Magnesium ions. At last, it passes through the lower water locator and get discharged through the center pipe.
----In the cleaning process, another part of raw water supplements water to the brine tank simultaneously. When the level of water reaches the brine valve floater, water supplementation will stop. |

|
3.Softening
----Raw water passes through the center pipe, lower water locator and reaches the bottom of the swap tank. Water passes the resin layer from bottom to top and after raw water having been softened; it runs out through the upper water locator.
----In the softening process, resin layer around the lower water locator will form floating layer or bed which will facilitate distributing water and making full use of the resin.
In the softening process, water flows in the opposite direction with regenerating water. If the softening process is complete, then the quality of water can be guaranteed |
.
